Sobre o evento
Is it possible to slow down aging? And even... reverse it? Advances in epigenetics, metabolism, and artificial intelligence have reopened one of the most ambitious questions in modern science: is it possible to cure aging? In the next Brazilian-American Bio Connections , we bring together two Brazilian scientists who are at the forefront of this discussion. Guests: Lucas Camillo, Artificial Intelligence Leader at Shift Bioscience (United Kingdom) - Lucas Camillo is a biochemist and computer scientist. He studied preclinical medicine at Cambridge, biochemistry at Brown University, and computer science at Oxford. His research focuses on computational biology, epigenetics, and aging. He currently leads the AI area at Shift Bioscience, where he develops algorithms to identify safe genetic cocktails that promote cellular rejuvenation.
Marcelo Mori, PhD, Associate Professor of Biochemistry and researcher at UNICAMP - Marcelo Mori is a biologist with a PhD in Biological Sciences from Unifesp, with postdoctoral studies…
