Our History
BALSA was born from the desire of Brazilians in the United States to unite, support each other, and strengthen the Brazilian presence in the life sciences. We operate as a free and participatory network, promoting connections, mentorship, events, and access to professional opportunities.
Our team
BALSA is organized into three main areas, each dedicated to serving a specific audience within our community: Undergraduate, Academic, and Industry. In addition, we have an independent Marketing team responsible for connecting and amplifying our actions both within and outside the network.
