Our invited speaker is Dr Thiago J. Borges , Assistant Professor at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, will present and discuss his recently published study on high-dimensional immune profiling in a living human recipient of a gene-edited pig kidney.
Xenotransplantation represents a promising solution to the global shortage of donor organs. This important work provided valuable insights into the immune landscape and dynamics of kidney xenotransplantation, advancing our understanding of immune responses in this emerging clinical setting.
